"Jeff & I wanted to let you know how our pup is doing since we picked our puppy up from you last fall. Jeff named him Gus and he says that he is one of the most intelligent dogs he has ever trained. Deke went away for upland training at 6 months old and after only 6 1/2 weeks his trainer, Melvin Crow with MJ's Upland Dog Haven, called me and said Deke was done and ready to go home! Melvin had us come and watch Deke work in the field and we were impressed, he points some of the time which he said would come more with age but Melvin told us he didn't push the pointing because he is only 7 1/2 months old, but what he does do is he runs the field hard, has an excellent nose, locates birds well, will not give up on a bird, and retrieves like a mad man! Melvin gave us a printout with daily updates on the dog as well as birds flushed, pointed, shot over, and retrieved by our dog. |

"We wanted to update you on Rudy. We think he is the greatest dog on the planet and so does everybody who knows him. He is exceptional with people and loves to take commands. The Wiser Family-"Gunner", Holdrege, NEGunner is our son Griffin's yellow lab we got from Keslar Kennels. Pat helped up surprise Griffin on his 12th birthday with Gunner. It took a little looking on the internet and I soon realized that I needed a pup from Keslar Kennels. One phone call to Pat and I knew I had made a good choice. We showed up to pick the little guy up in March 2013 and headed back to Kansas. He has been very easy to train. I have never had a pup that took to training like ol' Buck! Steve Clarke- "Jake", Hyannis, NE" Had Jake for a week now and he has made himself the king of the house already! Never a dull moment with him.
