The level of dog I have been looking for, in my mind, would be the once in a lifetime type of dog. It would be nothing less than epic. I have researched hundreds of dogs’ and had developed a shortlist of a 3 males and 6 females that I would consider buying a puppy out of, if the opportunity ever arose. Although I knew nothing about this breeding, and didn’t know Pat, both Tubb and Jaws were on my list.
By chance, I stumbled across a Facebook post that Chris Jobman had wrote about Tubb where Pat commented that he intended to breed Tubb to his bitch, Jaws. I couldn’t believe what I was reading and within seconds, I texted Chris and asked him what he thought about the pairing. Using remarks like "not a better dual test/trial dog in the country," and "she's something else," Chris confirmed what I thought I already knew about the pairing. Pat and I had a conversation and the rest is history. I am so very excited to watch this pup grow up, train it as a puppy and then go all the way at a national level. I have a ton (monetarily and emotionally) riding on it, but I undoubtedly know that she and Chris will get us there. " |
