This announces our new litter that was born June 2. This letter is out of Mattie , GOODNIGHT MATTIE Of THE LILLY and Max, KESLARS BABY CAKES HARRY who are both strong hunters with pedigrees with high performance pointing genes! Both are OFC Good! These pups will be excellent prospects for hunting or hunt test! Both of Mattie's parents have HRCH titles and Max's dad is a Grand Master Pointing lab!
We lost Max last month to a terrible accident and this will be the only litter he will produce. Max was my number one hunting dog and that's an accomplishment at my place! My team finished 2nd at the Nebraska One Box Pheasant Hunt this past November! He was only 3 years old. Mattie weighs 80 pounds and Max weighed 75 pounds so these pups will be big strong hard charging prospects! This litter consists of 2 chocolate females and one chocolate male, two black females, and one yellow male and one yellow female. They have dewclaws removed and will have first shot. Chocolates are $900 and black and yellow's are $800. Hanging out.....

HRCH Goodnight Trail Double Dutch and HRCH Peak Views Lakeside Lilly produced 2 planned litters with exceptional results. Majority of the puppies went to hunting or hunt test family’s and to this day I still get the phone calls and messaging of their accomplishments. Feel free to research the Pedigree, you will see some of the top producing lines around. Regardless, the proof is always in the pudding. Please value the hard work and endless time invested in a quality animal. I ask that you be true to the breed and appreciate the time required to develop a fantastic companion. Great dogs are owned by great owners!
“Dutch” is a legacy once in a lifetime dog for me and is currently 14 years old enjoying retirement but his days are limited. In short, he was a force multiplier in the field and was used professionally for waterfowl and upland birds throughout his career. Dutch naturally pointed and had marking and handling abilities that impressed in any situation. His natural talent was easy to see and would aim to please in any setting. Dutch has sired many litters with the same results time and time again. He is a true testament to the Labrador Retriever and one of the best dogs I have ever owned.
I had “Lill” flown out from NC as a pup after researching her working pedigree. It didn’t take long to see I had made a perfect decision. At the time, I was running HRC Hunt tests, guiding and hunting. At 6 months, old “Lilly” passed her first seasoned test and performed remarkably through her first hunting season. She also was a natural pointer and progressed into a finished hunting dog at a very young age. “Lilly” was a fantastic companion, a best friend to my daughter and a great fishing buddy in the off season. Naturally, she was a perfect dam to be bred. To this day, I continue to breed her offspring and have yet to be let down. She was stolen in NC in 2012, I can only hope she made someone else as happy as she did my family.
“Mattie” carries the torch! Pat or any other happy owners can testify to the abilities of this bloodline. References and questions are welcomed. Keslar Kennels produces some of the most remarkable animals in the country, hands down!
